GOD BLESS YOU. This morning I got up and saw your post indicating the steps that I need to take. I went to Benjamin Moore's website and found the colors that I wanted. I went for my morning run thinking all the way what I need to do. I come home and refresh your website and you have uploaded the buttons for me. Thank you so much.
I have uploaded the buttons you have made for me and they worked straight away. I don't use a button_selector as it is easy for me to change the button drawable at code level.
I will still make an attempt to draw these images myself as I am sure the management will want changes once these see the possibility and the power of these images!
What I want to learn is: 1. How to take a image from Benjamin Moore's webiste and make them have round edges using Gimp.
2. How to add a border (assuming once again this is done using Gimp).
3. Finally convert the modified png to 9.png using Android Draw9patch utility.
Please bear with me while I go through this learning curve.

ahah :) No problem Ash.
ReplyDeleteI don't use Gimp so I can't help you much there.
Check online for Gimp Tutorials, you'll find plenty.
Same goes for creating the 9.png files.
Good luck!
Thanks Richard
