Android 9 patch viewer update. V1.00.18

Hi All,

The android 9 patch viewer received a revamp today.

Here is a list of changes:

• 42 new 9 patch images! Available through the app only.
• Sharing feature now preserves complete file name!
• Sharing feature also preserves scale and padding markers!

The new addition requires access to SDCard so the temporary files could be added as attachment to email and other apps.

This is why write external permission is required.

New Features required duplication of files assets. Sorry for the inconvenient APK file size increase.

Just a quick update here guys.

I am currently trying to find a way so the viewer sharing feature will send the original 9-patch images including the scale and padding markers.

For some reason, when emailing the images, the app processes them and removes the markers.

I'll keep you posted on this update.

For now, you will need to redo the markers before adding them to your project.

Pack 24! - Some buttons with highlighted corners

I made a new pack tonight. They are white buttons with an highlighted corner. I originally saw this design on a website somewhere and reproduced it here as 9 patches.
The first 4 are the following states:

• normal, 
• normal focused, 
• disabled
• disabled focused

Followed by various pressed colors.

The viewer should be updated shortly to V1.00.17.

More fixes with V.1.00.15

Now available V.1.00.15:
I believe I should cover all screen size and densities now with this version.
The Layout View mode should work properly.

Hi All,

A minor issue was reported by 2 users this weekend with the Layout View mode.
I am currently working on a fix for that problem and should be updating the app this week.

Android 9 patch viewer coming soon with filters and categories.

I have received 2 request to add some sort of categories to the images in the app.
Since the number of patches is closing on one thousand, I will have to start thinking of a way to do just so.

My next effort regarding the android 9 patch viewer app will be to add filters and categories.

The collection was just a bunch of files previously, but now will need to get some organisation which was not part of the original design.

This will require quite some rework of the current code, so be patient.
